What will you be for Safe and Green Halloween? What materials will you be upcycling for your recycled costume?
Join us for our 7th Annual Safe & Green Halloween Fair on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at McKinley Elementary School, 651 Macredes Avenue, San José, CA 95116.
CommUniverCity San José works with residents and students to promote community safety during Halloween, as well as the importance of living sustainably and reducing impact on the environment through activities raising awareness the importance of recycling, reusing, reducing, composting, energy efficiency, bicycling, and upcycling.
Come to the fair and learn how you can live more sustainably. There will be a recycled costume contest for the children as well as pumpkin decorating. The Safe & Green Halloween Fair is free, open to the public, and family-friendly.
