We all deserve vibrant, healthy, and safe neighborhoods. Thank you Washington Neighborhood and Santa Maria Urban Ministry for hosting National Night Out at the Washington Youth Center. Families enjoyed a magic show, Zumba-thon, a Folklorico performance, and a visit from a clown. We also appreciate the Spartan Keyes Neighborhood for hosting live rock band The Rippoffs and Zumba. They announced a Sock Drive for the Homeless at S. 8th Street and Martha Street. Please share this with your communities!
Sock Drive for the Homeless
There are many men, women and children in our area struggling with homelessness. Your gift of a new pair of socks will go a long way to making things better in their lives.
- Goal: 150 Pairs
- Men: Any Color, Crew Sizes 10-13
- Women: Any Color, Crew Sizes 9-11
- Children: Any Color, any size, warm for the winter
Please bring all new sock donations and drop them off at the 897 S. 8th Street, San Jose, California, by Sunday December 15, 2013.
