Come join us in supporting the Alum Rock BART station, which VTA is threatening to cut from its planned extension. The Community has been laboring on this project for over a decade.
There will be designated speakers on saving Alum Rock @ 28th BART station when the general manger gives her report. The board will not vote on the station–the item is “information only,” but this is our first opportunity to make our case to the full board rather than VTA staff (as at the community meetings VTA has been holding). It’s important that we have a good turnout for this to show true community support, so I hope you can be there.
