We invited community-based organizations to share the major themes and interests of the Greater Washington neighborhood. The meeting generated non-stop conversation about the neighborhood\u2019s assets and needs among the thirty-five community leaders in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>We kicked off the meeting with Laurie Laird, the Director of Community-Based Learning at <a title=\"Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education at SCU\" href=\"http:\/\/www.scu.edu\/ignatiancenter\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education at SCU<\/a> and Board President of the <a title=\"Sacred Heart Community Service Agency\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sacredheartcs.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sacred Heart Community Service Agency<\/a>.
