On December 5th<\/sup>, CommUniverCity\u2019s Engineering in Action Team hosted its third Tech Expo at San Jose High School. 640 students at SJHS enjoyed 19 different demonstrations, all on the topic of aerodynamics. Students learned about everything from Air Pressure to Drag Principles, and were particularly interested in the exhibit on Quadcopters.<\/p>\n

All of the materials were prepared and taught by 68 Aerospace Engineering Students at SJSU, lead by professor Nick Muortos. SJHS Assistant Principal Christina Castro was a key partner, along with numerous SJSH Science and Math teachers. The event was a resounding success, and many students came away with a newly ignited interest in Airplanes and Engineering. As one student put it, “It was interesting. I like how the planes look. All is new for me.”<\/p>\n
