{"id":1552,"date":"2014-04-07T18:38:59","date_gmt":"2014-04-07T18:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cucsj.org\/?p=1552"},"modified":"2014-04-07T18:38:59","modified_gmt":"2014-04-07T18:38:59","slug":"local-businesses-support-sustainability-fair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cucsj.org\/vi\/2014\/04\/07\/local-businesses-support-sustainability-fair\/","title":{"rendered":"Local Businesses Support Sustainability Fair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here at CommUniverCity, we are more than excited about the upcoming <a title=\"2014 Sustainability Fair\" href=\"http:\/\/cucsj.org\/event\/2014-growing-sustainably-fair\/\">Sustainability Fair<\/a> this April 12<sup>th<\/sup> at the Brenda Lopez Plaza in the Greater Washington Neighborhood of San Jos\u00e9. Along with a packed agenda of kids games, smoothie making, and Zumba and Folklorico performances, we are ecstatic to share some of our community partners\u2019 insights into how to live a more healthy and sustainable life. In the process of organizing this event, we have generously been supported by many of the local businesses in the Washington neighborhood who have offered to help spread the word about the upcoming Sustainability Fair and donate prizes to be raffled off to our participating guests.<\/p>\n<p>The generous support of community businesses in this neighborhood provides an opportune time to highlight the important piece that local merchants play in the sustainability equation.
