King Road Complete Streets Community Engagement connects San Jos\u00e9 State University (SJSU) Communication Studies student interns with the City of San Jos\u00e9 Department of Transportation to support the marketing and promotion of the King Road Complete Streets Plan. The project aims to increase awareness of community planning meetings and create more inclusive opportunities for residents to help shape informed and equitable transportation decisions.<\/p>

Students develop communication strategies and content designed to reach community members, including groups that may be underrepresented at traditional public meetings. These efforts help ensure that residents who rely on transportation services have opportunities to share their experiences, priorities, and needs.<\/p>
