East Santa Clara’s “Our Lives in This Place” Kiosk has arrived!

East Santa Clara Urban Village Community – be on the look out!

On behalf of the East Santa Clara (ESC) Urban Village planning process, the City of San Jose’s, artist team -Robin Lasser, Trena Noval and Genevieve Hastings – invites your participation! Be on the lookout for Our Lives in This Place series of 28 postcards, which feature portraits and quotes from your neighbors and invite you to contribute your vision for the future in the new urban village. Postcards are available at the project’s mobile kiosk that will be installed at various locations throughout the East Santa Clara corridor from June 17 – August 2015.

The Our Lives in This Place kiosk is currently installed in the main lobby of Roosevelt Community Center, 901 East Santa Clara Street.

July 1

Our Lives in This Place will celebrate with a public celebration at the ESC Farmers Market, East Santa Clara at 16th Street, 4:00-8:00 P.M. You are invited to attend the free celebration!

July 2nd

The kiosk will return to the main lobby of Roosevelt Community Center, 901 East Santa Clara Street, and remain until July 15th when it will pop-up adjacent to Our Lady of La Vang Parish (formerly St. Patrick’s Church).

Full Schedule

A full schedule of locations and opportunities to meet the artist team is available! Please be a part of the community conversation about the new Urban Village by seeking the kiosk and contributing your thoughts. Postcard responses will be delivered to the San Jose urban planners who take these responses into consideration when developing plans for the future Urban Village.
